American Youth Chorus (AYC) rouses the stage for the first time in five years, with renewed vigor and a refined treble sound! Premiering in its new incarnation, under the direction of Jonathon Hampton, AYC sings show-stopping pop, gospel, jazz and art songs written or arranged by U.S. composers—from rarely-heard renditions of choral classics to the latest party anthems. Their voices will also be elevated by the power of their adult counterparts from the Congressional Chorus family. Join AYC, NorthEast Senior Singers, and Congressional Chorus Chamber Ensemble for a truly heartwarming Homecoming!

This unique concert experience incorporates cutting edge video syncing technology to present Jocelyn Hagen’s The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci, a multimedia symphony for chorus, orchestra, and video animation. The program also features Chinese-American composer Zhou Tian’s Broken Ink, inspired by poetry from China’s Song Dynasty.
